Belma advises multinational companies on all aspects of corporate US immigration matters, including applications for nonimmigrant visas, permanent residence, and naturalization, ensuring compliance with federal legal regulations. With each client, Belma takes the time to understand the role of immigration in their organization’s talent management function, and finds innovative ways to partner with them to build a comprehensive, proactive immigration program. In addition to providing legal counsel, as a certified professional in business process management, Belma offers customized process-oriented and reporting solutions to meet the needs of each organization. She constantly seeks ways to simplify workflows and technologies, and find ways to use data to help organizations manage their international workforce.

With over 10 years of experience, Belma guides clients on US immigration matters, including nonimmigrant visas ( H-1Bs, L-1s, TNs, E-3s, H-1B1s, O-1s, F-1s, J-1s, etc.), immigrant visas (employment and family-based), and naturalization, ensuring compliance with federal legal regulations.  She has experience guiding corporate clients on the impact of organizational changes, such as M&A and internal restructuring, on their workforce. She also has experience completing I-9 audits on behalf of clients and has presented on I-9 matters at the 2024 SHRM Gulf Symposium and the 2024 HR Houston Chapter in Deer Park, Texas.

In addition to her legal background, Belma’s prior experience working on-site with global mobility professionals uniquely positions her to understand US immigration matters from an HR and business perspective. She provides business-oriented legal advice on program management and helps organizations build and streamline their immigration programs.

As an immigrant herself, Belma understands the challenges her clients face. She strives to ease these difficulties by thoroughly counseling clients on what to expect during the immigration process, offering compassionate support, and delivering exceptional client service.
