Brooke works to guide employers and foreign nationals through their legal options and help prepare their cases. She focuses on various US immigrant and nonimmigrant visa categories, including H-1B, L-1A, L-1B, TN, and E-3 visas, as well as Permanent Labor Certification (PERM), EB-1, EB-2, and EB-3 applications. Brooke is also experienced in Canadian immigration law matters, including Canadian visas, work permits, study permits, permanent residence and citizenship applications, and Quebec-specific immigration issues.
In addition, Brooke works with members of the firm’s Immigration Compliance & Enforcement team to assist clients with compliance-based challenges, including discrimination claims, investigations, and I-9 related audits. She has defended clients involved in the DOJ’s immigrant and employee rights anti-discrimination matters. Brooke also monitors government enforcement trends and policy changes and provides due diligence reviews and internal assessments to clients.
Prior to becoming an attorney, Brooke was a paralegal at Seyfarth, where she worked while attending law school. She has years of experience with legal issues across a wide range of industries, including financial services, consulting, data analytics, information technology, and the automobile industry, among others. Her background has given her a unique skill set and perspective into the intricacies and importance of case strategy and preparation.
