More About Caitlin

Employers with a multijurisdictional workforce face a unique set of employment law matters to consider and harmonize across the countries in which they operate. Caitlin understands these complexities and helps clients find strategic solutions to their most challenging cross-border employment concerns.

Caitlin counsels clients across the globe on matters including hiring and termination, employment contracts and restrictive covenants, global pay transparency reporting and pay equity obligations, global policies, and contingent workers and outsourcing. Caitlin has particular experience advising on large-scale global restructurings, reductions in force, and mass redundancies, including actions that trigger works council or other representative body obligations.

Additionally, Caitlin advises clients on the labor and employment aspects of cross-border, multijurisdictional M&A transactions, which includes labor and employment due diligence, transaction agreement negotiation, pre-closing employee transfer analysis and document preparation, automatic transfer legislation impact, information and consultation processes, and post-close integration of employees.

Caitlin's experience in the US and Australia provide her with a unique understanding of the cross-border employment matters that international employers face. She has an ability to understand not only the legal nuances across countries, but also understands the importance of how business objectives and global cultural complexities can impact strategy.
