More About David

When companies find themselves named as defendants in wage-and-hour class action lawsuits, they need experienced counsel to help them defend the company's practices. Clients turn to David to be that trusted, experienced advisor, helping them shape defense strategy to the particular goals of each client, as well as working closely with them to develop compliance strategies.

David's practice primarily involves representation of employers in defense of wage-and-our class action lawsuits. He has experience representing clients in a wide array of industries, including transportation, waste collection, retail, financial services, and manufacturing. David also has significant experience litigating complex commercial disputes, and was counsel in several matters involving important California appellate decisions regarding California gaming laws.

David's experience growing up in a small farming community in Minnesota lends itself to finding ways to make things work. His mother always told him, "If you want to get something done, hire a farmer, because farmers are used to figuring things out and getting things done." That can-do attitude is a great foundation for the many challenges that arise in his current practice, where the goal is to find a way to make things work.

David appreciates working at Seyfarth, knowing that the firm has attorneys and professionals with extensive knowledge on employment law who are available at any time to help collaborate on complicated matters.
