More About Elizabeth
Clients look to Elizabeth for effective and practical ways to apply California law as it rapidly evolves. She represents employers in all aspects of employment litigation, including sexual harassment, discrimination, defamation, wrongful termination, retaliation, wage-and-hour, Private Attorneys General Act, and class action matters.
Elizabeth advises her clients regarding federal, state, and local employment laws, such as those governing leaves and sick pay, payment of wages and wage statements, reasonable accommodations, employee exemptions, and workplace investigations. She often represents retail, manufacturing and health care clients, and is well versed in matters regarding non-disclosure provisions, enforcing arbitration agreements and matters regarding social media and e-discovery.
Elizabeth has a wide range of legal experience. During law school, she interned with Honorable Ramon E. Reyes of the Eastern District of New York, and worked in the legal department of an online marketing company. After moving to California in 2009, she started to hone her litigation skills by representing plaintiffs in wage-and-hour class actions and in complex securities matters. In 2013, she expanded her practice and began representing employers in harassment and discrimination matters. She joined Seyfarth in 2015.
Elizabeth's broad experience makes her an effective litigator, and allows her to provide practical advice to clients. Her thorough and systematic approach to litigation has resulted in early dismissals, as well as hard-won victories at summary judgment, in arbitration or at class certification.
Elizabeth does not shy away from challenges related to technology in the workplace (or potential technological solutions). She also prides herself in being an effective communicator, and applies this skill in all aspects of her practice.
Elizabeth loves collaborating with her talented colleagues to obtain the best possible result for her clients.
