Elliot has represented clients in dozens of lawsuits, arbitrations, unfair labor practice charges, collective bargaining negotiations, and transactions during his time at Seyfarth, including the following:
- Represented large health care client in arbitration alleging religious discrimination and retaliation. The arbitrator granted summary judgment for our client.
- Advised manufacturing client on labor law implications regarding acquisition of unionized target company, which resulted in the deal closing successfully.
- Represented health and lifestyle client regarding charges filed by two individuals with the National Labor Relations Board. After investigations were conducted and associated submissions were provided to the agency, the Board dismissed both charges.
- Represented national logistics company employing independent contractors in a Request for Review to the National Labor Relations Board regarding a Representation Petition seeking to classify the drivers as employees.
