Eric is an efficient, practical advisor who understands the importance of targeted litigation efforts and provides a common-sense approach to resolving complex business controversies.
More About Eric
Clients rely on Eric for his counsel on developing pretrial resolution strategies, and for practical techniques to avoid litigation altogether. He is an experienced trial attorney with particular knowledge in trade secret, noncompete, and other restrictive covenant-related disputes, as well as consumer litigation lawsuits involving the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) and related federal, state, and local laws.
Eric conducted his first solo jury trial as a first-year associate more than 15 years ago, and has regularly appeared before juries, judges, and arbitrators ever since. He knows what it takes for his clients to prevail both in and out of a courtroom because he's repeatedly done so in venues across the country. Respected for his practice by both clients and colleagues, Eric is routinely sought out to serve as lead trial counsel for a wide variety of high-profile, high-stakes commercial litigation and FCRA matters.
To help his clients avoid unwanted surprises, Eric believes in constant communication and collaboration. At the outset of all matters, he works closely with each of his clients to clearly identify their ultimate business goals and together they develop the strategy for obtaining those objectives. As the cases progress, Eric ensures that his clients receive regular, up-to-the minute updates, enabling strategy decisions and revisions to be efficiently made in real time. This hands-on, white-glove approach to resolving business disputes is what leaves his clients feeling that they have direct control over the dispute resolution process and not blindsided by unforeseen developments.
Eric attributes his lifelong passion for distance running as a guiding force behind his legal practice. Whether training for a marathon or representing a client in a complex business dispute, there is no alternative for preparation, hard work, and total commitment to achieving the goal.
Eric is thrilled to work in Seyfarth's true "team" environment, where collaboration and cooperation is not only encouraged, but practiced daily. Each member selflessly volunteers their time and experience to drive results for firm clients without hesitation.
