More About Grayson
Grayson takes a strategic approach to her clients’ legal matters. She has a broad base of employment counseling, litigation, labor relations, and trial experience, as well as experience appearing before administrative agencies such as the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the National Labor Relations Board, and various state administrative agencies. Grayson helps employers avoid and mitigate legal risk, and works with them to address their unique concerns.
She represents employers in single-plaintiff lawsuits on a wide range of matters including discrimination, harassment, and retaliation arising under both state and federal anti-discrimination laws. Grayson proactively assists clients in mitigating employment issues by focusing her advice and counsel on best practices and solutions to personnel issues that help eliminate or reduce the risk of costly litigation. She counsels a wide range of clients on general employment policies and practices, including handbook reviews, and paid sick and family leave.
Grayson’s practice also includes a strong focus on labor relations, specifically: advising clients across the US regarding positive employee relations, defending employers against unfair labor practice charges before the National Labor Relations Board and in labor arbitration proceedings, assisting with collective bargaining negotiations and agreement reviews, counseling clients on complex labor relations issues, and conducting management trainings.
She joined Seyfarth initially as part of the Labor & Employment department’s fellowship program, where she collaborated with the firm’s innovative attorneys and gained practical experience. As a law student, she was a member of Cardozo Law Review’s editorial board and served as president of the Labor and Employment Law Society. Grayson served as a legal intern with the employment law team of a Fortune 500 media company, becoming uniquely situated to understand client needs. She also served as an extern at the New York City Law Department, where she helped defend the city in employment litigation. Earlier in her career, she worked as a business immigration paralegal at a New York City boutique firm.
