More About Irine
The employee benefits space is complex and evolving, and well-designed and maintained benefit arrangements are crucial to attracting and retaining talent. Irine assists clients in the design and administration of employee benefit plans, offering clients guidance on plan documentation (including drafting plan documents and amendments), plan qualification (including correction of plan operational errors), and participant communications. Irine has helped clients navigate matters before the Department of Labor and Internal Revenue Service, recordkeeper RFPs and plan design considerations in connection with large corporate transactions.
Counseling employers on such plans requires a high volume of documents. Irine turns to the firm's SeyfarthLink platform as a repository for plan documents and information, as well as using other firm technology tools as a secure and efficient way to organize and produce documents to the IRS and DOL in connection with plan and trust audits. Irine works with clients to create template documents so that required participant notices and communications, correction notices, and other documents can be drafted and distributed efficiently.
Irine loves being part of such a large and collaborative practice. Seyfarth's Employee Benefits group is one of the largest in the country, and Irine appreciates being able to collaborate, share ideas, and grow from her colleagues' experience.
