Jason helps clients efficiently resolve complex legal matters by providing creative, practical legal advice acquired through more than two decades of practice dedicated to labor and employment law. In 2017, Jason was recognized by the Hispanic National Bar Association as one of the nation's top lawyers under 40.

Jason is a highly experienced and accomplished employment law litigator with substantial experience conducting workplace investigations and managing traditional labor law matters. Jason's experience includes representing clients through all stages of employment litigation, including as trial, arbitration, and appellate counsel. His experience includes litigating single-plaintiff, multiple-plaintiff, EEOC initiated, and class actions under the Age Discrimination in Employment Act (ADEA), Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), Employee Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA), Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA), Sarbanes-Oxley and Dodd-Frank Acts (whistleblower provisions), Section 1981, Title VII of the Civil Rights Act (Title VII), and their state law counterparts in Illinois and across the country. Jason was previously seconded to a major consulting firm where he managed all of the employment litigation in North America.

Jason has substantial experience conducting high level and high profile corporate investigations, including several executive level harassment and discrimination investigations. He also has significant experience acting as lead counsel in numerous successful discharge and contract interpretation arbitrations pursuant to collective bargaining agreements.

At Seyfarth, Jason has been member of the firm's Diversity and Inclusion Action Team, and served on the hiring committee as well as the chair of the firm's associate mentoring committee. Jason is a member of the federal trial bar and a former adjunct professor in the Trial Advocacy Program at Northwestern University School of Law. He has represented pro bono clients in asylum and immigration proceedings through the National Immigration Justice Center and volunteered time to multiple community and legal organizations.
