With more than 30 years of commercial real estate experience, Jeff has represented a diverse range of clients, including developers of multifamily, commercial, mixed use and hotel properties, Fortune 100 insurance companies, hotel operators, private equity firms, REITs, major banks and financial institutions, corporate real estate departments, professional sports teams, and theme park operators.
He has been involved in the acquisition, sale, ground lease, design, development, construction, leasing, and financing of properties throughout the United States, including major office buildings; large multifamily apartment complexes; residential, commercial, and mixed-use condominium projects; luxury hotels and resorts; professional sports arenas; and theme parks. In addition, Jeff has negotiated complicated JV agreements on behalf of developers, operators, and equity investors.
Prior to joining Seyfarth, Jeff spent more than 15 years at major international law firms and served as general counsel to a large, New York-based developer for almost 14 years. This diverse background gives him a unique perspective on structuring and managing complicated, multifaceted real estate transactions and finding creative, yet practical solutions to his clients’ most challenging issues.
He has been involved in the acquisition, sale, ground lease, design, development, construction, leasing, and financing of properties throughout the United States, including major office buildings; large multifamily apartment complexes; residential, commercial, and mixed-use condominium projects; luxury hotels and resorts; professional sports arenas; and theme parks. In addition, Jeff has negotiated complicated JV agreements on behalf of developers, operators, and equity investors.
