More About Jennifer
Employment litigation, particularly in California, is constantly evolving, always presenting new challenges and opportunities to employers. Clients look to Jennifer for practical solutions to the legal, strategic, and operational challenges on both the harassment and discrimination front, as well as the intricacies presented in class action and Private Attorneys General Act (PAGA) cases in California.
Jennifer's practice focuses on labor and employment litigation and internal investigations. Jennifer has experience representing employers in single-plaintiff and class action litigation involving discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and wage and hour claims. Jennifer also counsels employers on a wide variety of employment and compliance issues, including hiring, terminations, anti-harassment and anti-discrimination programs, personnel policies, employee handbooks, disability accommodation, family and medical leave matters, job classification, meal and rest breaks, and payroll laws.
Before joining Seyfarth Shaw, Jennifer's practice included a broad range of civil litigation in the labor and employment, product liability, toxic tort, construction, environmental, and general liability practice areas. Jennifer has also been provided with a unique insight to the challenges that employers face through a six-month secondment, where she was placed in-house with a Seyfarth client. These experiences provide her with an understanding of the real-world matters that employers face on a day-to-day basis, and how to be practical in finding legally-sound solutions that meet the business needs of her clients.
Jennifer enjoys working alongside Seyfarth attorneys, who are as enthusiastic about labor and employment as she is. She's proud to provide top-notch representation to some of the most successful employers in the country, an endeavor she finds exciting and rewarding.
