Jeremy has represented national, regional, and local commercial lenders and borrowers in secured and unsecured financing transactions, including revolving credit facilities, construction loans, bond financing, and conventionally and federally insured mortgages. He has also represented lenders and borrowers in the health care, skilled nursing, and assisted living space across the life span of a loan, from conventional debt to bridge-to-HUD to HUD loans.
Prior to joining Seyfarth, Jeremy helped build and led a national HUD-insured lending practice at a firm based outside of Chicago. Over the course of seven years, Jeremy and his team handled approximately 250 lending transactions, from single-property skilled nursing facilities to large portfolio loans, as well as servicing matters over the life of the loan. More recently, Jeremy has been engaged by clients to work on accounts receivable financing in connection with HUD loans and intercreditor control issues.
He has also represented public and closely held corporate clients in a variety of commercial transactions, such as private equity transactions, mergers and acquisitions, and a variety of transactions involving real property, such as acquisitions, dispositions, and leasing of commercial real estate. Additionally, Jeremy has represented clients in all areas of corporate governance and general corporate law, health care licensure, and compliance, and he has counseled clients on all aspects of ongoing operations.
