Joe is a highly skilled employment litigator and labor lawyer with extensive experience representing clients across industries. Joe served as in-house counsel for Alaska Airlines, Inc. and Horizon Air Industries, Inc., advising on labor and employment issues, litigating grievance arbitrations, and managing civil litigation. Clients benefit from his deep industry knowledge, in-house experience, and understanding of highly regulated workforces.
Joe’s experience includes advising on, negotiating, and litigating matters covered by the Railway Labor Act and the National Labor Relations Act, including collective bargaining, arbitrations, and union organizing. He has defended employers in litigation related to wage and hour class actions, administrative charges, and allegations of discrimination, retaliation, and wrongful termination. In addition, Joe advises employers on employee discipline, compliance with state and federal employment laws, wage and hour compliance, and the development and implementation of personnel policies.
