More About Kelly
As the California labor and employment laws continuously change, clients look to Kelly for day-to-day counseling and training on various topics, including effective hiring and training, leaves of absence, disabilities in the workplace, disciplining and terminating employees, and maintaining a work environment free of harassment, discrimination, and violence.
Kelly has worked with employers of all sizes, and works with her clients to tailor policies that fit their needs while ensuring compliance with changing laws.
Kelly began her litigation practice almost 13 years ago in New York before moving to California in 2012, and focusing exclusively on labor and employment matters. She has worked on single-plaintiff litigation and class actions, conducted workplace investigations into employee complaints, and prepared handbooks for a wide range of clients in different industries.
Kelly enjoys working with human resources personnel and in-house counsel in order to avoid litigation for her clients, but will vigorously work to defend them when litigation does arise. Her fluency in Spanish is a great asset, especially during witness interviews where the witness is more comfortable speaking in Spanish.
