More About Kristie

Kristie began her career as a data analyst and leverages her combined legal and data analytics experience to utilize the vast amounts of data available to employers for future workforce planning, assessing employment practices, and identifying and mitigating legal risk.

Navigating the global patchwork of laws governing equal pay and pay transparency can be challenging for employers. Kristie offers employers strategic, practical, and harmonized approaches to compliance with these requirements across the states and countries within which they operate. She collaborates with employers and Seyfarth’s team of in-house labor economists to conduct privileged, proactive equal pay analyses, identifying potential pay disparities, and advising on strategies to mitigate legal risk, including monetary remediation and changes to company policies and practices.

Employers trust Kristie to guide them through the evolving landscape of diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI). She conducts privileged audits of clients’ DEI programs to assess legal and reputational risk and helps employers design and implement legally defensible programs and initiatives to promote an inclusive workplace and ensure equal opportunity for all.

Kristie also assists employers in managing the complexities of equal opportunity and anti-discrimination laws, including those applicable to federal contractors under the Vietnam Era Veterans’ Readjustment Assistance Act (VEVRAA) and Section 503 of the Rehabilitation Act. She has successfully defended contractors’ hiring, promotion, termination, and compensation practices during compliance reviews conducted by the US Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP).
