Mandana is a seasoned litigator who regularly defends employers in class actions and other complex employment litigation, handling a wide range of matters, including claims brought under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), various provisions of the California Labor Code, including California’s Private Attorney General Act (PAGA), California Business and Professions Code, the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), and equal pay claims. Mandana also has extensive experience successfully defending employers in both state and federal court against claims of discrimination, harassment, retaliations, medical leave, antidiscrimination laws, privacy, wage and hour claims, whistle-blower and retaliation claims, and misappropriation of trade secrets. She has successfully defeated these claims by obtaining victory at summary judgment, or defense verdict at trial. She also defends clients in litigation and audits raised by various government agencies, including the EEOC and the DOL.

- Won motions to strike and motions to dismiss all class and representative claims at the pleading stage for a national publishing company client, where complaint alleged claims of failure to pay wages, failure to provide meal and rest breaks, and waiting time penalties.
