More About Michael
Allegations of misconduct and litigating those allegations are a constant and ever changing factor of an employer’s day-to-day business operations. Michael understands the stress these allegations can put on employers, and works with clients to craft and execute a legal strategy that zealously defends the matter, while always serving the clients' overall business interests.
Michael has experience in defending clients before both trial and appellate courts. Prior to joining Seyfarth, he spent more than three years defending hospitals from allegations of misconduct, and navigating the complex relationship between patients, their physicians, and hospitals. This experience provides him with an understanding of the realities of litigation and allows him to advise clients regarding the benefits and risks at each and every stage of litigation, from initial investigations to ultimate resolution.
During law school, Michael was member of the moot court executive board and spent two years competing as a member of the Wagner National Labor and Employment Law Moot Court team. He also received the highest grade in his employment law and legal writing courses. Michael’s early focus on employment law provided him with early experience and knowledge which, combined with his litigation experience, allow him to provide comprehensive and valuable advice to his clients.
Michael appreciates the real-world application of the issues presented in the course of employment litigation, and enjoys the challenges of zealously defending his clients.
