Throughout her career, Natalie has gained broad class action experience, with a particular focus on the defense of wage and hour class and representative actions under the Private Attorney General Act (PAGA) of 2004. In addition to wage and hour matters, Natalie has defended clients in single- and multiplaintiff lawsuits against claims of discrimination and retaliation before government agencies, in arbitrations, and in federal and California state courts.
Natalie helps employers navigate multiple layers of requirements and obligations related to employees and the use of independent contractors. She has provided advice and counsel on topics including, but not limited to, leaves of absences, accommodations, issues related to COVID-19, and reductions in force—including both the federal and state WARN acts. She has also drafted various employment documents, including employment agreements and employee handbooks.
