Nicole is a trial attorney, representing companies in employment litigation matters in both state and federal courts. She is recognized for her significant experience litigating on behalf of employers in claims of discrimination, harassment, wrongful termination, retaliation, pay equity, wage and hour issues, breach of contract, and misappropriation of trade secrets, among others.
When helping clients, Nicole draws on her depth of skills and legal experience, having secured numerous defense verdicts for employers across a multitude of industries. She represents employers in single and multi-plaintiff civil litigation, in private arbitration, and before state and federal agencies. With two decades of experience, Nicole has managed hundreds of cases and depositions, enhancing her ability to serve her clients to achieve the best resolutions for their legal and business goals.
In order to help her clients avoid litigation risks, Nicole also provides advice, counseling and training to facilitate compliance with federal and state employment laws, such as those governing leaves, terminations, discipline, and employment-related decisions. In her practice, she counsels employers, marketplaces, financial institutions, restaurants, and background screening companies on the ultra-technical Fair Credit Reporting Act as well as state laws affecting background screening.
