More About Olivia
Olivia focuses on workplace harassment, wrongful termination, employment discrimination, retaliation, ADA accommodations, and labor relations. Olivia’s practice involves drafting dispositive motions, witness preparation for depositions, fact-gathering investigations, and counseling clients to ensure compliance with Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990, and the National Labor Relations Act.
Olivia’s background as a judicial intern for the US District Court for the Northern District of Georgia and the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission Washington field office provides operational knowledge of the judicial system and the decision-making process behind workplace misconduct and employment discrimination claims. These experiences have helped Olivia comprehend complex matters and pinpoint key issues, strengths, and weaknesses in a case.
Olivia currently serves as co-chair of Seyfarth’s Spelman and Morehouse Internship Program, which provides undergraduate students with an opportunity to gain practical law firm experience prior to law school. Olivia participated in this program as a senior at Spelman College in 2019 and is proud to pay it forward to her alma mater.
Olivia strongly believes in giving back to the community through providing legal assistance to individuals in need. Her pro bono work includes reviewing employment policies and handbooks to ensure best practices are followed and to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
