Rachael provides regulatory and transactional counseling to health care providers, specialty physician practices, hospitals, and health systems, as well as investors in the health care industry. She advises organizations and their investors on a variety of legal, regulatory, and compliance matters that can impact their business outcomes.
Her particular experience includes advising on corporate practice of medicine requirements, federal and state health care fraud and abuse compliance matters, professional licensure, credentialing, and handling medical board complaints. Rachael also assists clients in all aspects of health care transactions, including private equity transactions, mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, and strategic affiliations. Whether executing complex transactions or providing tailored regulatory guidance, she goes above and beyond to find solutions for clients.
Prior to this role, Rachael worked as a summer associate and law clerk within Seyfarth's Corporate group, where she gained significant experience with legal transaction work.
Rachael serves as a council member of the Houston Bar Association's Health Law Section.
