In law school, Rebecca externed for Chief Judge Lee Rosenthal of the US District Court for the Southern District of Texas, where she drafted opinions and observed all stages of complex federal cases. Rebecca also externed with the University of Illinois Foundation, addressing a variety of in-house concerns of a large, public nonprofit. She served as executive administrative editor of The Elder Law Journal, in which she published a student note.
Prior to her legal career, Rebecca published or contributed research to exhibitions at the Smithsonian American Art Museum, Dallas Museum of Art, and Corcoran Gallery of Art, preparing her to tackle large, complex projects.
