Bob concentrates his practice on litigation and counseling matters involving complex business, restrictive covenant, trade secret, and employment disputes. Bob is an experienced trial attorney representing clients in bench and jury trials in dozens of state and federal tribunals throughout the United States. His courtroom experience ranges from representing businesses as plaintiffs and defendants in TRO and preliminary injunction hearings on an expedited basis to representing clients in weekslong to monthslong jury and bench trials over trade secret, restrictive covenant, wage-hour, and employment disputes.
Bob has successfully represented clients in restrictive covenant, trade secret theft, breach of fiduciary duty, and employee-raiding cases throughout the United States, obtaining dozens of injunctions and multiple seven-figure settlements. In zealously representing his clients, Bob pairs his sound judgment and fiscal responsibility with legal creativity to achieve their desired litigation outcomes. Bob understands that litigation is not one-size-fits-all, and that the definition of success often varies from client to client and case to case. Bob works closely with clients to understand and achieve their litigation goals.
Outside the courtroom, Bob serves as a trusted advisor and counselor to in-house counsel and business leaders in examining and complying with an intricate web of restrictive covenant, trade secret, and employment laws throughout the United States. In this role, Bob also conducts C-suite and internal investigations into allegations of sexual harassment, retaliation, fraud and breach of fiduciary duties, and duties of loyalty.
Bob clerked for the Honorable William M. Acker, Jr., United States District Court of the Northern District of Alabama from 1996 to 1997.
