Rob's clients are purchasers, investors, and lenders who buy, sell, develop, and finance commercial real estate projects. His clients are both national and local to Boston. Rob regularly represents financial institutions in the structuring and closing of mortgage loan transactions for securitization in the capital markets. He also handles complex commercial real estate and real estate capital markets transactions. These include permanent, construction, acquisition and mezzanine loans, debt restructurings and workouts, equity investments and restructurings, joint venture transactions, debt purchases, and property acquisitions and dispositions. Rob's experience spans multiple asset classes, including multifamily, retail, office, and industrial.
Rob brings a client-focused perspective with unique insight on the legal and business objectives of a deal. He understands his clients' needs and appreciates various stakeholder perspectives. Prior to his legal career, Rob worked with the US Securities and Exchange Commission Enforcement Division.
Rob enjoys working alongside his Seyfarth colleagues, who build strong personal relationships with their clients beyond the attorney-client setting.
