Russ represents developers, property owners, privately held businesses and entrepreneurs in commercial real estate and business transactions. His real estate practice includes all aspects of commercial real estate ownership and development, including acquisition and disposition, development, leasing, joint venture formation and structuring, private placements, and debt and equity financing transactions.
His diverse business practice encompasses clients in a wide range of industries, and includes advising on corporate governance matters, mergers and acquisitions, commercial finance, private lending, secured transactions, and a variety of strategic partnerships and commercial arrangements. Russ prides himself on being a pragmatic problem solver, and enjoys helping his clients navigate whatever issues their business may be facing.
Prior to returning to private practice, Russ served as general counsel at a private equity firm that invested in and developed single, multifamily, and commercial real estate projects throughout the Pacific Northwest.
