She graduated from Northeastern University School of Law with two certificates–one in privacy law and another in intellectual property law. Sandy was also chosen to be one of 25 scholars from across the country to participate in the Hispanic National Bar Association’s Intellectual Property Institute, where she connected with practicing privacy professionals to learn about their clients’ needs and concerns. Sandy is currently working to become a Certified Information Privacy Professional at the International Association of Privacy Professionals so that she can advise her clients on everything from mitigating data security risk to establishing proper compliance programs.
Sandy has experience from various legal roles, starting from her time as a litigation paralegal to her time as a judicial intern for the Honorable Magistrate Judge M. Page Kelley at the US District Court for the District of Massachusetts.
