Steven is a seasoned litigator who has represented clients at all stages of litigation, on a variety of legal matters. He has defended employers against wage and hour, equal pay, wrongful termination, retaliation, discrimination, and harassment claims. He has represented clients in high-stakes trade secret and employee mobility litigation, both as a plaintiff and defense. Steven’s experience also includes representing employers in both class actions and single-plaintiff lawsuits, as well as defending employers in actions brought by administrative agencies and representative actions brought under California’s Private Attorneys General Act (PAGA).
Additionally, Steven has advised employers on a range of employment law matters, including worker classification, state equal pay laws, trade secret protection, employee mobility, and privacy issues.
Steven’s calm and calculated approach helps clients faced with difficult circumstances. He also brings a distinct perspective on international employment law issues to his practice. Before law school, Steven lived and worked for several years in South Korea.
