Sul partners with employers to resolve the complex legal issues surrounding a wide range of matters, including union-organizing campaigns; National Labor Relations Board proceedings; workplace safety and health issues; race, national origin, age, disability, religion, and sex discrimination and harassment claims; and wage and hour claims. She also helps clients develop and update internal procedures and policies, ensuring their businesses comply with labor and employment laws and helping them avoid risk.
Sul has significant experience with foreign-based international companies, especially those in the automotive and manufacturing sectors. With this background, she helps her clients navigate the complexities of cultural differences in their employment law matters.
Sul is often called upon to conduct training for employers, in both Korean and English, on topics such as understanding OSHA (including the mysteries of lockout/tagout); employee relations 101; the entanglement of FMLA and ADA; social media in the workplace; solving remote workplace challenges; and respecting cultural diversity.
