More About Tim
Investing in real estate assets can be complex and fast-paced. As the old saying goes, "time kills all deals." Clients look to Tim to help with all of their real estate transactional needs, typically on a tight time frame—whether that be for the sale, acquisition, construction, or development of all types of real estate assets. These include hotel, office, industrial, medical office, and multifamily assets, as well as the formation and structuring of joint ventures. Tim delivers quality advice at efficient rates and in a timely fashion, allowing his clients to secure more opportunities without a large impact to their bottom line.
Tim has a wide range of experience in the legal field. He has had two stints as an in-house counsel at an Atlanta gas utility, and at an Atlanta-based national publicly-traded home-builder prior to joining Seyfarth in private practice.
Tim has nearly two decades of experience in private legal practice advising all types of real estate investors—medical office, office and apartment developers, insurance companies, and pension funds. He has advised institutional real estate investors seeking to place funds in all classes of projects, or monetize existing assets through sales, financings, or participations in existing real estate projects. These experiences have provided Tim with an understanding of the pressures faced by in-house counsels, as well as the C-Suite officers and the level of services needed by their outside counsel. He can get transactions accomplished—at efficient legal costs.
Tim enjoys working at Seyfarth with many practitioners who are equally service-driven and deal-oriented. His colleagues have an expansive knowledge of the law, but also take a common-sense approach to getting transactions accomplished with minimum risk to his clients.
