Managing employee matters can be difficult, especially when employees are based in a number of countries. Employment laws are complex, forever evolving, and vary greatly between countries, as do local cultures and customs. Will acts as a single point of contact to help companies seamlessly manage their employee matters all over the world. He works with the international team to deliver practical solutions to the complex employment law challenges that arise on large multijurisdictional compliance projects, mergers and acquisitions, and workforce restructures.
Will's 10 years of employment law experience includes time working as part of a dedicated team concentrated on inward investment. He worked closely with tax advisors and immigration specialists to provide focused advice to foreign companies, mainly in the technology sector, looking to expand into the UK and across Europe. Will has developed a unique insight into the different aspects that can arise with cross-border matters and the challenges that employers who work with international resources encounter.
Will has first-hand experience living and working in different countries, and has in-house experience working in the legal departments for well-known global companies. He uses this varied experience to assist his clients and find practical solutions to the legal challenges they face. Will relies on his understanding of the international and commercial matters that employers face on a day-to-day basis. He provides a quick turnaround on work requests, and is flexible with time to meet client requests in the US and around the globe.
