Employment legislation differs significantly across the globe. With on-the-ground experience in the Middle East and the UK, Yannick helps employers tackle a wide range of legal challenges so that they can focus on their business objectives.
Yannick has counseled clients on difficult employment law matters across multiple sectors, whether this relates to implementing reductions in force, or introducing new terms and conditions of employment as part of a business reorganisation. Yannick’s experience in the Middle East advising national and international corporate clients provides him with unique insight into the legal challenges employers with operations based in the GCC region regularly face. Having lived as an expatriate in the UAE for seven years, Yannick is well placed to advise clients on the full spectrum of employment law issues in the region, from the onboarding phase through to the termination of employment. He draws on this experience when managing global projects and helping employers navigate legal challenges in multiple jurisdictions.
As a UK-qualified lawyer, Yannick also regularly advises clients on the full range of legal issues throughout the UK employment cycle, including the implementation of employment contracts and policies, assisting employers with managing disciplinaries and grievances, and advising on the termination of employment.
