Seyfarth’s London office serves as a popular regional hub for our clients’ operations in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA). As rapid change continues across these regions, our International practice assists clients with practical commercial legal advice, intellectual property advice, global mobility advice, corporate investigations, contentious regulatory and ESG advice, representation before government agencies, as well as advising on the full range of employment-related issues in large multijurisdictional transactions and complex international employment law projects.

The office is continuing to expand and has been privileged to serve a growing list of local and international clients, including banks and multinationals. The firm has developed a strong reputation in the EMEA region for our cutting-edge approach to complex cross-border employment work. To date, the office has handled some of the largest and most complex employment law projects in the world, including a multibillion-euro global restructure in 120 jurisdictions. The team’s attorneys have particular experience regularly assisting companies with large multijurisdictional employment law projects of a strategic, compliance, and transactional nature. Our lawyers are qualified in the UK, France, Spain, Italy, Canada, and the United States.

Our corporate investigations, white collar crime, and regulatory compliance practice consists of a cross-discipline team of criminal, regulatory, and employment lawyers who support our clients on their most sensitive matters, whether this is providing compliance advice, conducting internal investigations of whistleblowing reports, or responding to government enforcement action.

Sustainability and social welfare regulations are a growing trend and focus for companies. Our team in London, working in collaboration with other colleagues in Seyfarth’s international, multidisciplinary Environmental, Social, and Governance practice, provide advice and investigation support to clients navigating the growing number of ESG laws in the UK, EMEA, and rest of the world.
