About the Program

Although Asian American and Pacific Islanders are the largest underrepresented racial/ethnic group in big law firms, they have the highest attrition rate and lowest partner-to-associate ratio of any group nationally. There were 10,000 AAPI lawyers in 1990, and about 50,000 AAPI lawyers today (making up 3% of federal judges and 2% of state judges). Despite being the fastest-growing racial/ethnic minority group in the US (approximately 6% of the population), AAPI enrollment in law schools have been steadily decreasing over the past decade.

Why? And what does that mean for us at Seyfarth and in the legal industry?

Join us for a special discussion with our firm leaders. We will discuss the keys to career advancement, the mentors and sponsors on your road to success, and the unique challenges and opportunities facing the Seyfarth AAPI community.
