With experience in employment counseling, litigation, workplace training, and investigations, Emma brings a holistic view to advising employers on the gamut of employment matters. She has successfully represented clients in severance negotiations, workplace and government investigations, and has second- and third-chaired jury and bench trials.

- Represented a client through an investigation by the Seattle Office of Labor Standards that resulted in a favorable settlement for the client.
- Conducted an investigation for a health care provider regarding allegations of racial discrimination by a group of organized, union-represented employees. The final report included meeting with the complainants and their union representatives in a group setting to deliver the findings, which was unusual for this type of investigation.
- Defeated in its entirety a motion for summary judgment on a client’s claims against a former employee for trade secrets violations and tortious interference with contract and business expectancies.
- Created and conducted an antidiscrimination and antiharassment training for a large institutional client and the client’s diverse workforce.
