John focuses his practice primarily on corporate structuring, capital raise matters, commercial financing products, joint ventures, and a comprehensive range of other general corporate and real estate-related matters. He represents sponsors and investors with all aspects of the capital stack in a given transaction, be it traditional debt financing, equity syndications, preferred equity, mezzanine financing, and post-closing recapitalizations. John also works with real estate and private lending funds in connection with raising capital and obtaining leverage both at the fund and underlying asset level. He also represents traditional lenders, private lenders, financing syndicates, and borrowers in connection with financings of commercial real estate, including construction and acquisition financing, corporate acquisition and working capital financing, convertible loans, mezzanine financing, sale and leaseback structures, and mixed debt financing.
In addition, John counsels clients on matters related to mergers and acquisitions, development of retail, corporate, and industrial mixed-use office space and property, and financing transactions—including originations, modifications, and restructurings of secured credit facilities, vehicle financings, and asset-based credit lines.
John enjoys working with the creative and dynamic members of Seyfarth's corporate group, who all work together to provide our clients with strategic solutions to complex issues.
In addition, John counsels clients on matters related to mergers and acquisitions, development of retail, corporate, and industrial mixed-use office space and property, and financing transactions—including originations, modifications, and restructurings of secured credit facilities, vehicle financings, and asset-based credit lines.
