More About Michelle
The laws, regulations, and other considerations involved in the structuring, implementation, and monetization of real estate investment programs are complex. Michelle helps sponsors and general partners navigate these matters to structure, document, and implement these programs, including like-kind exchange and qualified opportunity fund programs. She counsels clients on transaction structure, offering and investment documentation, and broker-dealer agreements. She has been a key participant in hundreds of investment funds.
Michelle has unique knowledge and substantial experience in a variety of corporate and real estate practice areas. This includes commercial finance, capital markets and securities, mergers and acquisitions, corporate structure and governance, and complex real estate acquisitions, dispositions, and financings.
She also has substantial experience advising clients on the use and negotiation of state and local economic incentives throughout the country to assist in the financing of new industrial, commercial, multifamily and mixed-use projects. In connection with the implementation of certain incentives, Michelle has represented clients in hundreds of bond-financed sale-leaseback transactions.
Michelle's diverse background gives her a unique ability to advise clients on various aspects of a deal, particularly at the intersection of the corporate, finance, and real estate practice areas.
